Art, Artists, Literati, Celebrities, Philanthropy & tales of my random misadventures through what appears to be adulthood. All with a little dash of a blonde Southern belle's charm as lagniappe. What more could you ask for?

Leigh- you crossed my mind tonight. So glad to see that you are still posting- and was happy to see that you've got dear friends visiting you from HOUSTON! COME visit us!!! :) Hope this summer is finding you well and happy!!! We just got back from the Gulf Coast (Alabama- Gulfshores-) We were the only white people at our resort with a hispanic nanny chasing children! Very funny- very scary!!!
I'll send pics- in the mean while- please email me at work- because GOD knows- I'm never anywhere else! and I'll catch you up on all the rest!

Hi Leigh,
I was surfing the web looking for Fleur de Leigh sites and came across yours. Funny. I discovered that I'm not so unique. I have a family-targeted blog I call Fleur de Leigh, because my name is Leigh and I'm obsessed with the fleur de lis. I'm from Louisiana. I have Joan Didion's book "The Year of Magical Thinking" on my nightstand, too. My favorite movie of all time is "Dr. Zhivago." One of my favorite books growing up was "The Fountainhead," As a matter of fact, it was the first novel I ever read without torturous demands from school teachers. I'm dyslexic, so for me to read any novel voluntarily from beginning to end without stopping is a miracle. So, it would be obvious that I'm also a southern girl who loves the arts.
Oh - and I also use the same little gimmick: Loveleigh, Uniqueleigh, and so on.
There must be something about girls named Leigh.
I hope you have a speedy recovery from surgery and have a wonderful New Year! 2008 will be Great.
Leigh H.
