Swoon

As a treat to T. (ha ha) I dragged him to the Mat Kearney/John Mayer concert last Saturday night. The reviews weren't that stellar--many accused JM of sounding too much like his musical influences and Dave Matthews--but I had a great time regardless. May have been the catchy music (you want deep, go see Yo-Yo Ma), the not-too-long guitar riffs, the good seats...or the fact that Rupp Arena sells really big beers at events...

No Jessica Simpson in sight, however, plenty of misguided slutty teens waiting to take her place in attendance. Frightening.
