The Style Map of the United States...

So, Esquire did a "study" (and I use that term very very very loosely) of style trends through the United States, giving us "a quick primer on what each of our great states has contributed to the world of style."

The results are astounding. Make sure you read the last line...Who knew?!? As a resident of "the most stylish state" I'm certainly floored.* "Fashion Mecca" is not quite what I think of when I think of the Commonwealth of Kentucky...

*Please note, however pleased I may be to live in "the most stylish state" the fact that they list "Colonel Sanders" as a style icon makes me question the veracity of the entire study...

You must admit though, Col. Sanders was always dressed very well. Johnny Depp, too.

I love that the best they could come up with for WV was 'a place'. The Greenbrier.

I guess we will just have to live vicariously through our next door neighbour.

Well, Jennifer Garner is from WV, but I don't know if she's considered a "style icon..."

But if Col. Sanders is on the list, I'd think Garner could pull it off! (Ben Affleck and baby Violet as accessories?)
